Pro basketball DBs win 2nd straight after opening night…

Professional basketball team Wonju DB, led by rookie head coach Kim Joo-sung, has won two straight games after opening the 2023-2024 season.

DB defeated Changwon LG 85-76 in an away game at Changwon Gymnasium on Nov. 26, led by Dedrick Lawson (29 points) and Lee Sun Albano (16 points).

Kang Sang-jae added 13 points and Kim Jong-kyu 10 points to help the team extend its winning streak.

LG, on the other hand, fell to a third straight loss, 온라인카지노 having not won a game since the start of the season despite a strong performance from Jung In-duk (19 points).

The game, which was tied 62-62 through three quarters, tilted in DB’s favor with just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter.

DB Lawson hit both free throws with 5:10 left to start the run. He followed that up with a three-pointer and a two-point jump shot to quickly extend the lead to 80-63.

LG pulled within 73-82 with 2:31 left in regulation after Yoo made three free throws. Yoo Yoo-sang still had a chance to pull off the upset, hitting a three-pointer with 40.6 seconds left in the game to close the gap to six points, 76-82.

However, DB Kim Jong-kyu drained a cool dunk on the ensuing possession to make it 84-76, taking the wind out of LG’s sails.

LG’s scoring was severely hampered by the fact that their main guard Lee Jae-do had not fully recovered from his injury. Lee played 13 minutes and 36 seconds and didn’t score a point. National team forward Yang Hong-seok, an ambitious recruit, also scored just nine points.

Jung In-duk, who once gave up basketball but returned to LG in the 2021-2022 season, scored a career-high 19 points, but could not smile as the team suffered back-to-back losses. 카지노사이트
