Shin Ki-Sung, Kim Ki-Man, and Kim Il-Doo join forces…Goseongseo Basketball ‘Donates Talent’

Shin Ki-sung (48), SPOTV commentator, Kim Ki-man (46), head coach of Seoul SK, and Kim Il-doo (41), commentator of 온라인카지노 MBC Sportsplus, who graduated from the prestigious Korea University in basketball, joined forces to ‘donate their talents’ to the youth of Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do.

On the 11th, they held the ‘Summer Vacation Basketball Class with SK Knights and Shingisung’ at Goseong Middle and High School Gymnasium, where they taught 30 students the basics of basketball, selected the best five players through a practice game, and presented gifts to the best players.

The event was organized by Coach Kim, who refers to Goseong as his second home, and was made possible by commentators Shin and Kim, who are both juniors at KU, taking up Coach Kim’s offer and actively supporting his team, SK, as well as Intri and Dasarang items.

“I usually spend my free time in Goseong, where my relatives live, and I organized this event after hearing that it was difficult for the youth here to be exposed to arts and culture,” said Coach Kim. “I am deeply grateful to the SK team for their generous support, and especially to the two commentators, Shin Ki-sung and Kim Il-doo, who stepped up to the plate.”

Commentator Shin, who made a name for himself as one of the best point guards in the Korean professional basketball league during his playing days and served as the head coach of the Incheon Shinhan Bank in the women’s professional basketball league, gave the youth a ‘one-point lesson’ at the event, as well as acting as an atmosphere maker with his unique words.

“Actually, this event is the result of a long discussion with Goseong-gun Council Chairman Kim Il-yong about improving the health of Goseong-gun youths and their friendship through basketball,” said Coach Kim. “In the future, we plan to provide general student guidance as well as technology transfer to local basketball clubs so that professional basketball players can be produced through the discovery of Goseong-gun basketball youths.”

Kim, who is in talks with ‘Summer Vacation Basketball Class with SK Knights and Shingisung’ to expand the program to include SK players in the future, also plans to invite Goseong-gun youth to home games during the KBL regular season.
