The women’s professional basketball (WKBL) postseason schedule has been confirmed.

On the 22nd (Thursday), Hana One Q defeated BNK Some and secured 4th place in the regular league, completing the semifinal playoff match-up.

The playoffs, which have been changed to a best-of-five format starting this season, will begin on Saturday, March 9. KB Stars, ranked 1st in the regular league, and Hana 1Q, ranked 4th, will play the first game at Cheongju Gymnasium.

The next day, March 10th (Sunday), the first match between Woori Bank, ranked 2nd in the regular league, and Samsung Life Insurance, ranked 3rd, will be held at Asan Yi Sun-shin Gymnasium.

The championship match will also be held in a best-of-five format and will be held from Sunday, March 24 to Monday, April 1. Among the teams that advance to the championship game, the 1st, 2nd, and 5th games (5th game, if necessary) will be held at the home stadium of the top team in the regular league, and the 3rd and 4th games (4th game, if necessary) will be held at the home stadium of the bottom team in the regular league.

Meanwhile, the postseason media day, in which the coaches of the four teams advancing to the playoffs and two representative players from each team will participate, will be held at the Stanford Hotel Korea located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul from 14:00 on Tuesday, March 5.
