Hanwha Cup High School vs. College All-Star Game
The 2nd Hanwha Eagles Cup High School vs. College All-Star Game will be held in Daejeon on June 6th
The 2nd Hanwha Eagles Cup ‘High School vs. College All-Star Game’ will be held at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on June 6.
High School vs. College All-Star Game is an event game jointly hosted by professional baseball’s Hanwha Eagles and the Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA),
and attracted attention when it was held for the first time last year.
In the first tournament, about 1,000 people came to Daejeon Stadium to watch,
and the cumulative number of live broadcast views on Hanwha Club’s official YouTube channel (Eagles TV) exceeded 110,000.
Among the players participating in the first tournament,
20 out of 21 high school seniors and 18 out of 23 college draftees wore professional uniforms. 온라인카지노
Jun-seo Hwang (Hanwha), Taek-yeon Kim (Doosan Bears), Mir Jeon (Lotte Giants),
Ji-hwan Park (SSG Landers), Jun-pyo Jeon, Young-woo Ko, Jae-sang Lee (Kiwoom Heroes),
Hyun-jong Kim, Ji-heon Jeong (LG Twins), Seon-yeop Yook (Samsung Lions)
Others also completed their debut in the first team of professional baseball.
Top high school and college members are expected to participate in this competition as well.
Each team’s squad consists of one manager, five coaches, and 24 players.
The High School All-Stars are led by Busan High School Coach Gye-won Park (Under-18 national team coach),
and the College All-Stars are led by Kyung Hee University Coach Choi Tae-won (Under-23 national team coach).
All selected players participate in the game, and the number of pitchers’ pitches is limited to a maximum of 45 pitches.
A total of 10 people, 5 from each team, participate in the home run race held prior to the game.
As in the first tournament, the Hanwha Eagles will cover all costs,
including provision of the stadium, transportation, lodging, and food for participating players.
The best player of the tournament will receive a tablet PC,
and the winner of the Outstanding Pitcher Award, Best Batter Award,
Winning Team Manager Award, and first place winner in the Home Run Race will receive a smartwatch as prizes.
A specially designed commemorative ball will be given to 1,000 spectators.
The 2nd High School vs. College All-Star Game will also be broadcast live on Eagles TV.
