Hanwha to call up Moon Dong-joo, Jeong Eun-won and 3 others out of first team
After snapping a four-game losing streak, the Hanwha Eagles make changes to their first team roster.
Hanwha removed infielder Jung Eun-won, outfielder Lee Won-seok, and pitcher Han Seung-ju from the first team roster on Tuesday, the day of the game. Hanwha has announced Moon Dong-ju as the starting pitcher for its home game against the LG Twins at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on Nov. 21, and he will fill one of the vacant spots.
Jung, who is splitting time between the infield and outfield this season, is batting .172 with 11 hits (one home run), six RBIs, 10 runs scored and 10 runs batted in in 27 games. In the recent five-game series against the Daejeon NC and Daegu Samsung Electronics, she went 0-for-7.
Han Seung-ju was dropped from the first team after giving up seven runs in ⅔ of an inning in the NC game on Sept. 15 and a scoreless inning at Samsung Electronics on Sept. 17, while pinch-hitter and center fielder Lee Won-seok was also sent to the second team after failing to get a chance to play.
LG has designated pitcher Woo Kang-hoon and infielder Song Chan-ui for assignment. Woo, who was acquired from Lotte in a trade on March 30, has pitched 114 innings in eight games this year with one win and a 4.50 ERA. Song Chan-ui, who was designated for assignment on March 18, was designated for assignment again after appearing against KT on March 18 and 19. He has batted four times for the first team this season and is yet to hit.
NC will be without infielder Kim Soo-yoon and outfielder Jae-hwan Shin. Kim is batting .333 with six hits, two doubles and one walk in five games this year, while 먹튀검증 Shin is batting .283 with 13 doubles, one home run, eight RBIs and eight runs scored in 46 at-bats in 33 games.
Lotte has designated pitcher Lee Min-seok for assignment. Lee started the game against the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on April 19, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out four in 3 1/3 innings. After giving up a single to Yang Ji-hyun in the bottom of the fourth inning, Lee raised his hand to the bench to indicate that he was feeling unwell.
Lee, who had been topping out at 154 mph with his fastball and a mix of sliders, curveballs and changeups, was pulled for protection after suddenly bruising 안전놀이터 his hand. After Lee went down, Lotte battled Doosan to a 3-3 draw.
SSG had Kim Joo-on, who was registered on the 19th, removed from the first team roster on the 20th. Kim, who came in after Roenis Elias was scratched due to a sore left flank, pitched in the bottom of the eighth inning against the Kiwoom Heroes at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on April 19 with his team trailing 3-7, but was immediately removed from the roster after giving up three runs on four hits (one home run) in one inning.
