Korea Women’s Basketball to draft 12 players for Asia Quarterfinals. 23rd in Tokyo
Twelve players, including a former member of the Japanese national team, have signed up to participate in the Korean Women’s Basketball League’s (WKBL) Asia Quarter Player Draft.
According to the WKBL, Rika Tanimura, who was selected to the Japan national team in 2019 and 2022, and Moe Nagata, who played in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup, 바카라사이트 have announced their intentions to participate in the draft.
Mizuki Akamatsu, who played in the Australian Women’s Professional Basketball League, has also applied to participate.
The WKBL will hold a draft ranking drawing ceremony at the WKBL headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on Wednesday before the players are selected.
The main event, the draft, will take place on March 23 in Tokyo, Japan.
The WKBL, which will introduce an Asian quota starting in the 2024-2025 season, has decided to target Japanese players this time around.
