Qatar Asian Cup Ticket Window Opens for 10 Days, Local Supporters Worry About Accommodation Fees…”Let’s Reunite Korean Fans”

Qatar is reopening its ticket window for a major tournament more than a year and eight months after the 2022 Qatar World Cup. “Tickets for the tournament, which will be held in Doha from January 12 to February 10, 2024, will go on sale today,” the Qatar Asian Cup Organizing Committee (LOC) announced during a media conference at the St. Regis Hotel Grand Ballroom in Doha, Qatar.

Ticket prices revealed by the organizers will be a minimum of 25 Qatari Rials (about $9250). However, a variety of ticket packages await Asian soccer fans. “Fans can purchase single match tickets, preferred team packages during the group stage, group stage and other options,” said Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at LOC. “Package tickets will be released in phases. They will not be linked to fan entry visas or Haya cards.”

Tickets will go on sale via the organizing committee’s website and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) website.

Fans traveling to Doha to enjoy the Asian Cup will not have to worry about accommodation costs. “The great legacy of the Qatar World Cup, which was held in December last year, offers a wide range of accommodation options,” said Al Kuwari. “We are also coordinating with the Qatar Tourism Authority to provide accommodation. We are also in the process of working with the participating teams through their official associations.”

Al Kuwari recalled the memories of the Korean fans who filled Doha for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
