The momentum of the V-League Men’s Division’s four consecutive titles

The momentum of the V-League Men’s Division’s four consecutive titles continues with the Foreign Player Draft.

The Korea Volleyball Organization (KOVO) held the 2024 KOVO Men’s Foreign Player Draft at the Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Nov. 11 (KST). The final selections were revealed today after two days of tryouts, which began on September 9th.

A total of 40 players were eligible for the draft. Among the 36 players who participated in the tryouts as invitees were Yosvani, Leonardo Leiva, Artem Susheko, and Maksim Zigalov, who played in the V-League last season. Similarly, Andres Biyena, who is trying to make a comeback, was able to extend his stay with his original team, KB Insurance.

The first order of business was the draft position draw. In reverse order from last season, the draw began with the following teams allocated marbles: 7th-place KB Insurance (35), 6th-place Samsung Fire (30), 5th-place KEPCO (25), 4th-place Hyundai Capital (20), 토토사이트 3rd-place Woori Card (15), 2nd-place OK Financial Group (10), and 1st-place Korean Air (5).

The result was a surprise.

Korean Air’s orange ball, which contained only five out of 140 balls, was the first to come out of the machine. The Korean Air table immediately erupted in cheers and the room erupted in laughter. Hyundai Capital’s light blue ball, which contained 20 balls, came out second. KB Insurance, KEPCO, Woori Card, Samsung Fire & Marine, and OK Financial Group followed.

Korean Air head coach Tomi Tilikainen, who beat the odds by just 3.57% to get the first pick, selected outside hitter Yosvani, who was out of contract with Samsung Fire. Yosvani last wore a Korean Air jersey in the 2020-2021 season as a replacement for Biyena. She will return to Incheon after four seasons.

Head coach Tomi Tilikainen said, “I think we should hang the marbles in the club office. The reaction from our table was different. I think it’s our day. Korean Air and Yosubani have a history together. It feels good to be able to bring him here. He knows our team and we know Yosubani. I think it will maximize the effectiveness.”

Korean Air added apogee spiker Aref Moradi to its roster in the Asian Quarter, and now Yosvani.

Head coach Tommi Tilikainen said: “I think having two good apositives will maximize our offense. “I’m happy to get a good attacker,” said head coach Tommi Tilikainen, “because Josvani can see the outside hitter, so we’ll be able to help each other and play comfortably. I have an idea. It’s just going to take a little bit of time to get it together on the court.”

As for the upcoming 2024-2025 season, can Korean Air win a fifth consecutive title? “I think it’s definitely possible (to win five consecutive titles) 슬롯사이트 순위 if we show a newer and better Korean Air team,” said head coach Tommi Tilikainen.
