Hanwha Noh Si-hwan (23) hit 30 home runs and surpassed 100 RBIs. 

Noh Si-hwan is the fourth player in the KBO League to hit 30 home runs and exceed 100 RBIs at the age of 23 or younger, following Jong-hoon Jang, Jae-hong Park, and Seung-yeop Lee.

Noh Si-hwan started as the third hitter and third baseman in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League home game against Lotte held at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on the 14th.

In the first at-bat with one out and one out, he hit third base runner In-ho Choi at home with a ground ball to shortstop. He was brought in and scored an RBI.

It was his 100th RBI of the season, his first career record.

 After hitting his first 30 home runs against LG in Jamsil on the 2nd of last month, he also reached the 100 RBI mark. 30 home runs and 100 RBIs are the 86th record in KBO League history. This record is even more meaningful considering Noh Si-hwan’s age.

So far, the players who have achieved 30 home runs and 100 RBIs at the age of 23 or younger in the KBO League are Jong-hoon Jang of Binggrae (35 home runs, 114 RBI) in 1991, Jae-hong Park of Hyundai (30 home runs, 108 RBI) in 1996, and Seung-yeop Lee of Samsung (32 home runs, 1997-1999). Hanwha’s 30 home runs and 100 RBIs were Jong-Hoon Jang (35 home runs, 114 RBI, 41 home runs, 119 RBI) in 1991-1992. 1999 Dan Rohmire (45 home runs, 109 RBI), Jay Davis (30 home runs, 106 RBI), 2002 Song Ji-man (38 home runs, 104 RBI), 2016-2017 Willin Rosario (33 home runs, 120 RBI, 37 home runs, 111 RBI), 2018 Following Gerard Hoying (30 home runs, 110 RBI) and Lee Seong-yeol (34 home runs, 102 RBI) in 2018, Noh Si-hwan became the 8th player with the 10th record.

He is the third player in Hanwha history to become the home run king, following Jong-Hoon Jang (28, 35, 41) in 1990-1992 and Tae-Gyun Kim (31) in 2008.
