Lim Byung-wook and Chang-min 3 Consecutive Fights to Fight

Kiwoom Heroes won a thrilling comeback victory in three consecutive games at home to snap Pajuk’s three-game winning streak.

The Lotte Giants sprinkled a sprinkle of hot pepper powder and ended the week in a good mood.

Kiwoom won 3-3 in the 20th game of the season against Lotte in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 14th.

Kiwoom also continued the pursuit.

In the bottom of the fourth inning

lead hitter Kim Hwi-jip was run out on an error by Lotte second baseman Park Seung-wook, and two batters later

Lim Byung-wook blasted a two-run home run to quickly narrow the score gap to 4-2.

Kiwoom turned the game around in the bottom of the seventh inning.

After leading hitter Kim Tae-jin reached base on an error by Lotte second baseman Park Seung-wook

Lim Byung-wook’s hit and Kim Dong-heon’s sacrifice bunt led to the top of the first, second and third base chances

In the top of the eighth inning

tying the score at 1-2.

But it was Kiwoom who laughed at the last moment.

Kiwoom saved a bases-loaded chance in the bottom of the eighth inning with a ball net by leading hitter Yong Yong-gyu

a hit by Kim Tae-jin and a ball by Lim Byung-wook after the first inning.

Kim Dong-heon’s push-out sand dunes made it 3-1 and took a one-point lead.

Kiwoom then finished off the final defensive game of the regular inning in the top of the ninth inning when Im Chang-min silenced Lotte’s last resistance without conceding a run.

The 9-year-old Lim Chang-min showed his fighting spirit for the third consecutive day to secure the victory for his team.

Kiwoom fell short of expectations as starting pitcher Oh Sang-won went 38/3 innings

allowing five hits

two walks

and three runs with one strikeout

but the batters rallied and blew the whistle for their third consecutive win.
